Yankees fans around the globe are celebrating today and it’s no surprise! Last night the New York Yankees beat the Philadelphia Phillies in game 6 of the World Series. The 2009 Fall Classic is here! It is refreshing when a team like the Tampa Bay Rays go on a run the way they did in 2008. This year the MLB will be celebrating the 105th annual World Series Championship. Currently the World Series is scheduled to being on October 28th and should be going until November 5th. The World Series features two of the best teams in the MLB (determined by the playoffs from the National and American Leagues) and includes 7 thrilling games. As Tampa Bay Rays fans we were excited to spend our wedding anniversary, at Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, Florida watching the Tampa Bay Rays play the Baltimore Orioles thanks in part, to some MLB tickets from Event Chaser. Last week (Labor Day 9/7) we had the fabulous opportunity to attend a San Francisco Giants baseball game at AT& T Park! It was a gorgeous day in the bay area and the air was full of excitement at the Giants are playing their hearts out for a chance to make the playoffs! We took my dad, a Giants fan his entire life, and my son who loves some good ball park food! He recently told me he’d like to try out the hot dogs at every park in the U.S.! We might some day!
