In the state of Georgia, the Saturday after Thanksgiving is another day to show what’s known as Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate. This is the rivalry between the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Georgia Bulldogs. Thanks to RazorGator and EventChaser I wound up with Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets tickets to see my alma mater play against the Georgia Bulldogs on this date. With the Atlanta Falcons reaching the playoffs in 2008 with rookie quarterback Matt Ryan and first year head coach Mike Smith, expectations are high this season for Falcons fans. Thanks to RazorGator and EventChaser I wound up with a pair of end zone Atlanta Falcons tickets in the Georgia Dome to experience the first home pre-season game for the Falcons, in a game against the San Diego Chargers. With the first string players playing for the entire first half and part of the third quarter, the atmosphere of the game more resembled a heated regular season match up. Read the rest of this entry »
