The AFC West in the National Football League is loaded with quality football teams. The Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders all play in this division as well, and all three have won Super Bowl titles. The San Diego Chargers have been one of the elite teams in this division for several years now, and are aiming for another playoff appearance. The 2009 Fall Classic is here! It is refreshing when a team like the Tampa Bay Rays go on a run the way they did in 2008. The second event for the Big Dog’s trip to Seattle was the final date of the Sunny Day Real Estate reunion tour at the Paramount Theatre. Every review I have read from this tour ranted and raved about the incredible shows the band was putting on each night. How would the final show in their hometown of Seattle go? Thank you RazorGator for hooking the Big Dog up with one heck of an experience! Wow! I have seen Seahawks games on TV and have marveled at the look of the stadium. Plus, let’s face it, the Seattle Seahawks have a reputation for having one of the toughest places in the NFL to play at Qwest Field. Yes, the Big Dog has traveled out of state three separate times this year to see the one-and-only Bob Mould in concert. Yes, all three were well worth the trip, and the fact this one was part of my first trip to Seattle makes it all the more special. We are well into October and the first week of the 2009 MLB playoffs is over. Two teams have already made it to the Championship Series round, are matched up to see who takes home the pennant for their league and earn a trip to the World Series.
