I have loved David Sedaris for a long time, ever since I read one of his short story collections, Me Talk Pretty One Day. His collections are true stories based on his life experiences living in the United States and throughout Europe. The stories always have me laughing out loud, which usually causes some pretty strange looks from passerby. Again, RazorGator was generous enough to give me two David Sedaris tickets. This time, I took my friend Michelle, who I used to work with at a former job. She lives downtown within walking distance to the performance and she was generous enough to cook me pasta and sausage before we went down to Midland at AMC. Read the rest of this entry »

I was elated to go on my first EventChaser assignment going to the Daniel Tosh show at the historic Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Missouri on April 23, 2009. I’ll admit, I’d never heard of Daniel Tosh before receiving a list of possible events I could attend on behalf of EventChaser and RazorGator.
