It time to start getting excited about the 2010 Rose Bowl! Preparations have already begun and the city of Pasadena is getting ready. I will fill you in will all the details you need to know before scooping up your Rose Bowl tickets and attending the game. This guide will be useful for seasoned veterans and first-timers.

Rose Bowl Venue Information
Rose Bowl Stadium
1001 Rose Bowl Drive
Pasadena, California 91103
(626) 557-3100

The historic Rose Bowl stadium is located in Pasadena, California. It is only a few miles from Los Angeles and it tucked away in a gorgeous suburb. The stadium opened in 1921 and is considered a National Historic Landmark. The capacity tops out at approximately 90,000, but more patrons are often in attendance. The Rose Bowl features a completely natural grass playing field, which is perfectly pruned.

Originally, the Rose Bowl was constructed in a horseshoe shape; soon an expansion was completed to add more seating. It is one of the most famous stadiums of all time! Some amazing college bowl games have taken place at Rose Bowl. It is a favorite of all college football fans!

The Rose Bowl is currently home to the UCLA Bruins and most importantly, the Rose Bowl game and the 2010 BCS Championship! Traditionally the Rose Bowl college football game is held in the winter, on New Years day. It features two of the most talented college football teams, which are determined a few months before the bowl game.

Parking and Transportation at the Rose Bowl
Traffic in California is no joke! If you are coming from the south of Pasadena, you will be diving through Los Angeles. Always expect traffic to be congested in this mega city, so it’s a good idea reserve ample of time to find parking. You don’t want to be late for the game! All of the pre-game festivities are what the Rose Bowl is all about. So arriving a couple hours before the game, is the way to go!

Shuttles to and from the parking lots are available, some of them are free while other charge a small fee.

The Rose Bowl and Tournament of Roses Parade!
The Tournament of Rose Parade, otherwise known as the Rose Bowl Parade builds up so much excitement before the game! The parade celebrates life, football and the New Year. There are usually at least 40 floats featured in the parades.

Fans are also treated to live music (marching bands) and can probably even catch a glimpse of some celebrities! Keep in mind that tickets to the parade are usually sold separately.

Planning your Rose Bowl experience can be rather overwhelming! There are many events happening during this time and you won’t want to miss a second of the celebrations! Let PrimeSport and RazorGator make the most out of your time at the Rose Bowl. Rose Bowl Packages are available now and the perfect treat for an occasion! Packages from PrimeSport are fully customizable and can even include great pre-game hospitality.
