Gillette Stadium was opened in 2002 and the Rolling Stones was the first performance at this venue. It is home to the New England Patriots NFL team and the New England Revolutions soccer team. This stadium is absolutely massive, with the ability to fill an almost 70,000 person capacity.
Construction began in the spring of 2000 and cost roughly $300 million to complete. Additional plans were added last minute to expand the stadium and create additional parking spots.
