With a brand new Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys are no doubt ready for an exciting season! The 2009 season is scheduled to kick off on September 20th against the New York Giants. This will be the official unveiling of the gorgeous, high tech stadium and definitely a game that is not to be missed. Dallas Cowboys Stadium can host over 80,000 fans and can be expanded to fit even more. This massive stadium was constructed in 2008 and just recently opened in the spring of 2009.
The new Cowboys stadium was built to take over the again Texas Stadium, which served the Cowboys for over a decade.
The new stadium features 300 luxury seats with television screens, beverages, parking passes and internet access. Dallas Cowboys Stadium is roughly 3 million square feet in size, very impressive!
A large glass door, about 120 feet high was also built. It is said to be one of the largest glass doors in the entire universe.
