Hi guys!
The stakes are getting higher in this season of the NBA Playoffs. Today, I am going to give you some tips about Philips Arena in Atlanta Georgia. Philips Arena is currently the home of the Atlanta Hawks and the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers. Atlanta is beautiful city and it is definitely a hot spot for sports and entertainment junkies.
Philips Arena Location & Information
Philips Arena
1 Philips Drive NW
Atlanta, Georgia 30303
(404)878-3000
Philips Arena was built in 1999 and is known for its unique architecture and seating. The arena seats over 19,000 during basketball games and approximately 18,000 for hockey games. During concerts and other events, seating can be expanded to host over 20,000 visitors.
Philips Arena is not your traditional indoor entertainment complex. I highly suggest viewing the seating map, before purchasing your tickets. This arena has all of the luxury suites and club seating lined up on one side of the court. The special layout of Philips arena gives regular ticket holders a better experience and makes all ticket holders happy. Every seat in the house is great.
Philips Arena Parking & Directions
The arena is situated in the middle of the “Luckie Marietta District”. This is the soul of Downtown Atlanta and you can find the best shopping, dining and entertainment all within walking distance. Spend an entire day exploring Downtown Atlanta and score Atlanta Hawks tickets at night!
Philips Arena is located directly next to CNN Center. You will find the arena at the intersection of Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive.
If you are coming from the north of the city, use I-75/I-85 North. Take the Williams Street/Exit 249C. Make a right on Baker Street and turn left on Centennial Olympic Drive.
For those traveling from the south, take I-75/I-85 North. Use Exit at Andrew Young International Boulevard/Exit 248C. Make a left on Centennial Olympic Park Drive.
