Linda,

Traffic does get messy before NASCAR races at Atlanta Speedway, but it really depends on which direction you are coming from. Most veterans suggest exiting just north of Atlanta Speedway. It’s always best to arrive early and don’t rush. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the ride and blast some tunes.

Traffic may be a hassle, but it is well worth it! The races are so much fun.

We are coming from out of town and keep hearing that traffic is a nightmare and could be 3 hours stuck on the highway? Do you know if this is the case?

We are planning our first trip to AMS in Sept. and are trying to figure out what tickets to purchase (where to sit at the track) without spending a ton of money if you can see the track at the lower levels. And why are the Winners Stands and the Earnhardt Stands such a difference if price at the same row levels? Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
